What led me to join The SFDF was my curiosity to explore my interests and talents. I want to expand every possible opportunity for me to be a helpful person. I want to learn, experience, and try new things everyday. My main hobbies are reading, writing, body boarding (for fun), and hiking. I’m very passionate about animals. I enjoy fostering them to health, then finding them a permanent home. I’m interested in traveling. I haven’t done a lot of it, and one of my dreams is to travel the world. I’m also interested in helping people. One day, I hope to create something that will change peoples’ lives for the better. I have experience with Customer Service, assisting a Realtor, and as a Teachers Aide at a preschool. A few interesting facts about me is that, even though I was born and raised in a place where I grew up near the ocean, I recently gained consciousness on the reality of how dangerous the ocean really is because of a “close” accident where I was getting dragged along rocks with waves crashing up to 5-6 ft. It really opened my eyes to being more aware and cautious when I’m in the ocean. Another interesting fact about me is that helping/assisting others is as equal to me as a breath of fresh air.
